GETTING THERE
Although it is recommended to fly in and out of the San Francisco International Airport, the Oakland International Airport is a 40 minute taxi ride to downtown San Francisco, and BART runs regularly to and from the city throughout the day.
TAXI
From the San Francisco International Airport, the usual fare for taxi service to the Westin St. Francis Hotel is approximately $50 and the travel time is 20 minutes. From the Oakland International Airport, the usual fare for taxi service to the Westin St. Francis Hotel is approximately $70 and travel time is 40 minutes. Both are dependent on traffic, time of day and day of the week.
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
From the San Francisco International Airport, BART is adjacent to the International Terminal, and directional signs are clearly marked. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to BART for $8.10 one-way and $16.20 round-trip. Board the Pittsburg/Bay point train and exit at Montgomery Street Station.
The train ride from station to station is approximately 30 minutes.

From the Oakland International Airport, BART is located offsite so you will need to take the AirBART shuttle, directional signs are clearly marked. AirBART operates between the Oakland International Airport and the BART Coliseum/Oakland Airport station daily, approximately every 10 minutes,
until midnight.
AirBART buses are fully accessible, with wheelchair lifts and tie-ins. Fares for AirBART are $3.00 for an adult, $1.00 for children (12 and under), seniors
(65 and over) and persons with disabilities (with ID). AirBART fare is payable in cash (exact change only) or a $3.00 BART ticket from a regular BART ticket machine (bus fare boxes will not return BART tickets with more than $3.00 in value). U.S. residents can also purchase a "BART Travel Pack" online, which has two $3 BART tickets for AirBART each way and a $7.60 BART roundtrip ticket to ride BART to downtown San Francisco and back to the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station.
